About the MLA        

 

The Marine Leisure Association (MLA) is the only trade association that represents the Marine Training, Charter and Holiday industry.

 

This exciting association was formed to offer the general public better protection, guidance and advice. People are more confident now in making a booking with an MLA member company as all members abide to both the MLA and BMF Code of Conduct giving you added reassurance. 

The role of the MLA is to promote its members and provide services and advice to them.  MLA is represented on various National Committees throughout the marine industry to safeguard both the interests of our members and you the consumer. 

MLA is a group association within the British Marine Federation (BMF) and is recognised by the Government, MCA ( Maritime and Coastguard Agency ) , RYA ( Royal Yachting Association ) and other agencies as the ‘National Body’
